If you wish to use the prebuilt VASP binaries on [[Cedar]], [[Graham]] and/or [[Niagara]], you must contact [[Technical support]] requesting access to VASP with the following information: 
* Include license holder (your PI) information:
** Name 
** Email address
** Department and institution (university) 
* Include license information:
** Version of the VASP license (<b>VASP version 4 or version 5</b>)
** <b>License number</b>
** Provide an updated list of who is allowed to use your VASP license. For example, forward to us the most recent email from the VASP license administrator that contains the list of licensed users.

If you wish to use the pre-built VASP binaries on Compute Canada systems (Cedar or Graham):

  1. Your group leader (Principal Investigator, Professor) must hold a valid license from the University of Vienna.
  2. You, the user, contact VASP Licensing (Doris.Vogtenhuber@univie.ac.at) to confirm whether you are registered as a member of the license. If you have not been registered, VASP Licensing will ask your PI (license holder) to register you first.
