This article is a draft
This is not a complete article: This is a draft, a work in progress that is intended to be published into an article, which may or may not be ready for inclusion in the main wiki. It should not necessarily be considered factual or authoritative.
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is the domain of numerical analysis and physics concerned with the accurate and efficient simulation of fluid motions using computer software.
OpenFOAM
A suite of open source solvers and tools for CFD, multiple versions of OpenFOAM are available as modules on Compute Canada clusters.
Fluent
This is a commercial CFD program that is part of the ANSYS package, available on Compute Canada clusters though the user is required to supply a license.
