Intro
- Please report issues to support@computecanada.ca
- Email from graham and cedar is still undergoing configuration. Therefore email job notifications from Slurm are failing. (Patrick Mann (talk) 17:17, 26 June 2017 (UTC))
- The SLURM 'sinfo' command yields different resource-type detail on graham and cedar. (Greg Newby) 16:05, 23 June 2017 (UTC))
- Local scratch on compute nodes has inconsistent naming. Cedar has /local and Graham has /localscratch.
- The status page at http://status.computecanada.ca/ is not updated automatically yet, so does not necessarily show correct, current status.
Cedar only
- Cedar is available for opportunistic use. (Greg Newby 11:30, 23 June 2017 (UTC))
- Cedar scheduler is still being configured. Partition tables are a work in progress. Interactive nodes should be available soon, as well as GPU nodes. Basic job submission is functional. (Nathan Wielenga 10:38, 23 June 2017 (MDT))
- Environment variables such as $SCRATCH and $PROJECT are not yet set, although the filesystem are available. (Greg Newby) 16:10, 21 June 2017 (UTC))
Graham only
- Graham availability for opportunistic use has been announced by Sharcnet. (Patrick Mann (talk) 15:49, 21 June 2017 (UTC))
- Creation of /project directories is currently disabled while we trace an intermittent hanging problem with the underlying Lustre filesystem --Fraser McCrossan (talk) 15:25, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- Scheduler updates are forthcoming, to resource type names and locations of SLURM commands
