On RPM-based systems, if you want an easy way to get started and are not concerned with performance or disk usage:
[name@server ~]$ sudo yum install cvmfs-quickstart-computecanada
Please note that this configuration should not be used for a production environment. If you encounter any issues, uninstall this package and follow the standard setup instructions instead.

Do not create any CVMFS configuration files ending with .conf
. In order to avoid collisions with upstream configuration sources, all locally-applied configuration must be in .local
files. See structure of /etc/cvmfs for more information.
