Accessing the object storage requires a cloud project with object storage allocated. The steps below are only needed once.
To access the Arbutus object storage, generate the storage access ID and secret key with the OpenStack command line client.
1. Import your credentials with source <project name>-openrc.sh.
2. Create the storage access ID and secret key with openstack ec2 credentials create.
3. Log into the Globus portal at https://www.globus.org/.
4. In the File Manager window, enter or select Arbutus S3 buckets.

5. Click on Continue to provide consent to allow data access.
6. Click on Allow.
7. Click on Continue. In the AWS IAM Access Key ID field, enter the access code generated by openstack ec2 credentials create above, and in the AWS IAM Secret Key field, enter the secret.

8. Click on Continue to complete the setup.
